My second year of working with people in Ofunato, North East Japan. I spent 5 weeks to create a work with local community cast as part of Sanriku International Arts Festival. We created a site specific work in the garage of Sanriku Railway Company. Their single track local trains run alongside the coast which, effected tsunami in 2011, recovered partially now and operates between Sakari station to Kamaishi station. The wonderful 42 inter generational community casts +train company staff have taken the audience to dream like yet mesmerising journey. I enjoyed the every moment of the 5 weeks in Ofunato. There were so many people who supported the project and I am wholeheartedly thankful to meet the beautiful people.
